由 1979 年至今，Mercedes-Benz G-Class 一直是「硬朗」的代名詞，是越野車的傳奇，33 年來她走過戰場前線，到過山野泥濘，行走世界各極地，擁有能征服任何困難的魅力。最新到港的 G500 繼續保持硬朗造型，但內籠也跟隨潮流整體獲得升級，猛男不再單調乏味。



全新 G500 仍然以硬直線條突顯其猛男身形，車頭使用三間大芒星 AMG 式鬼面罩，並且採用加上了倒後鏡指揮燈的全新側鏡，車頭燈當然少不了有 LED 日間行車燈。此外，還配備了 20 吋的合金輪圈和紅色煞車卡鉗。這次改款最大變動是內籠，全車採用高級真皮包裹，中控台、門板及軚環使用大量桃木作裝飾，並有鋁質飾圈作配襯；還有 17.8cm 彩色顯示器增設了 6 碟 DVD 自動換碟裝置和 COMAND 控制器，能夠操控擁有越野資訊的導航系統及藍芽無線連接，還增加了後泊車鏡頭。



G500 採用 5.5 升 V8 自然吸氣引擎可輸出最大馬力 388 匹及 530 牛頓米扭力，從靜止加速至 100km/h 只需 6.1 秒，可預期在起步時就擁有雄渾力量。使用 7G-TRONIC PLUS 七前速自動波箱及 ECO start/stop 自動環保節能停車熄匙系統，百公里油耗為 14.9 升，以這樣大的越野車來說，成績算得上十分不錯。






G500 車廂，完全找不到越野車的影子。


大量的配飾，內籠更像是 S-Class 般豪華。



內籠設計豪華，座椅也用上皮革材質，即使越野車也能做到舒適享受。


尾廂夠高，載運大型物都無問題。


低轉高扭和強勁輸出及三個 100% 電子控制差速鎖，可輕鬆應付各種 Off-road。

cannot agree more. I am just confused why ppl love to drive it daily,
i ride in my buddy's G55 AMG for a 2 hour trip, and my butt was still hurting the next day,
the truck pretty much jumped over small bumps on the highway

It is very funny that this vehicle qualifys for the environmental friendly tax reduction.  The better buy is the diesel G350 Bluetec, a truly environmental friendly vehicle and a lot cheaper to operate.

my second favorite offroader in the market, first place definitely goes to the Land Rover defender. But for the potential for pimping G class sure have a upper hand.
