Limb numbness caused by high Cholesterol ?

Would high cholesterol cause numbness of fingers during sleeping?
Or is it because my arm is pressed by my body when I sleep on one side for too long?   
My cholesterol level has reached 6.7 recently.

1瞓死一邊責住手臂，血液循環不暢可以導致手麻
2下頸椎及上胸椎錯位，臂叢神經受卡壓亦可導致手麻（更甚者手指亦麻）
3心臟病、中風先兆(并有其他症狀及左臂多麻、痛)

thanks for your advice.
what I worry about is that my veins / arteries have grown narrower because of cholesterol deposits and  limited the amount of blood flowing to ends of limbs and thus caused 手麻
hope this is not true
anyway I have to seek consultation whether it is time to start taking pills to lower my cholesterol level
I don't want to rely on pills because I fear that once  I take pills I have to take pills forever

高血脂及胆固醇，中醫認為其發病因素不外乎以下數點
1．飲食因素 恣食肥甘，膏梁厚味，嗜酒無度，損傷脾胃，脾失健運，水谷不化，生痰生濕，痰濕中阻，精微物質輸布失司，釀為本病。
2．情志因素 長期情志不遂，肝失條達，疏泄失常，氣血運行不暢，膏脂布化失度，或思慮過度，傷及脾胃，內生痰濕，可導致本病。
3．體質因素 素體肥胖或素體陰虛，也是造成本病原因之一。“肥人多痰濕”，痰濁中阻可致本病。陰虛者多肝腎不足，肝肾阴虚，肝陽偏亢，木旺克土，傷脾胃生痰，或勞欲過度，更傷腎臟，因生命原動力缺乏而致代謝失調，發為本病。
所除咗戒口、食藥、節慾之外，一定要早瞓，肝、胆經就係晚上11點至凌晨3點，如果呢兩條經絡出事，胆固醇、高血脂都容易出現。

What colour is your palm?  Red/pink or blue.  
My dad had a triple bypass operation and his palm turned from blue to pink.  He didn't complain about numbness when his arteries were mostly blocked... so I think you are doing ok.

When this wear and tear occurs, it can lead to herniated disks in the neck, which can compress nerves. Depending on which nerve is compressed, numbness in the hands may result.

Syphilis
Syphilis can cause numbness in the hands. Syphilis is defined as a bacterial infection that is most often transmitted by an infected sexual partner. When left untreated, it can lead to brain damage and heart damage. When brain damage occurs, numbness in the hands may result.

My palm is slight pink in color as usual.
I could have over worried but I'll keep an eye on all these symtoms given.

Really so serious？
The doctor didn't say so to warn me。
He said as long as my blood pressure is low and the tri glycerol acid level is low it won't matter much。
