The fastest man on the planet, Usain Bolt, paid a visit to Nissan HQ to sample some of the companies latest cars. Bolt, who has already been signed by Nissan to help promote the GT-R supercar, has also signed a new deal to extend his role as brand ambassador for the GT-R which makes him the “Director of Excitement” for Nissan.
Nissan has given a pair of GT-R’s to Mr Bolt, one in red and the other in gold, with the latter being a prize for his incredible performance at the recent London Olympics, which will be auctioned off for charity. Nissan's New Global Brand Campaign - Usain Bolt and Nissan GT-R
Both of these cars are based on the latest 2013 Nissan GT-R, which features a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V6 engine with a peak output of 545 bhp with 463 lb-ft of torque.
These cars will be sold in an eBay auction, details of which will be announced later this month. All proceeds from this auction will go towards the Usain Bolt Foundation.
Nissan are planning to develop a limited-edition GT-R based on Bolt’s talents which will be sold tot he public. More details on this ‘Bolt GT-R’ will be revealed in the near future
I like the color like gold with orange.
I also hope that more people would particpate in the auction and therefore more money would be donated as a result.
