Technically Hua Hin has only one long beach that stretches north to south along the coast, but it varies enough from place to place to seem like different beaches. There's one to suit every traveler.
The northern end of the beach is the most developed. Here are located most of the city's resort hotels and water sports activities like parasailing and motor boating.
Heading south past Khao Takiab Hill, however, you enter quieter area. Here, the water is great for snorkeling and taking a swim.
Finally, just a little further south, the beach exchanges its palm trees for ocean pines, changing the mood and atmosphere entirely. The land is technically owned by the Royal Thai Army, but is open to the public. Here a popular activity is horseback-riding on the white, powdery sand.
