We were poor, basic and live a simple life. But we were free, happier and don't need to face the problems in Hong Kong nowadays.
We used to be able to avoid putting words on our mouths and ideas in our mind. We used to have interests on our money in our bank accounts. We used to be able to live under a roof with a reasonable price. We used to be able to speak whenever we wanted and go whereever we like and listen to the truth. We used to able to eat foods which are not artifical or fake. We used to be able to stand up for ourselves without political presure. |
