我相信唔得囉~ 或者可以試下果D唔係銀行直接發既 credit card 既~ 不過始終機會微D, 同可能只係比8千 credit 你玩下咁掛~

理論上銀行會將你列入左黑名單，可能除非你而家有資產證明，咁先可能有d機會

I think there is a time limit for a credit bureaus to keep those record under privacy ordinance ????

Does it mean that the credit bureau can only keep those records for certain time, not forever.

Does it also apply to those banks/credit card issuers/financial institutes ???

That means no time limit for the bank to retain the records if the banks think that is is necessary for the purposes. Am I correct ??  thks

According to my memory, there was a case ( years ago ) between Hang Seng Bank and Privacy Commissioner about the retention period. Finally , Hang Seng Bank had to apologized for non-compliance.

That means the bank should not retain those records more than 8 years , otherwise, it is out of justification, and the privacy commissioner can and may intervene. ????

I don't think 8-year is a hard rule.  The key is "justification".  Whatever the retention period,  ...

If it is a bankruptcy case, how long can the bank keep those record within justification ???, and how long is it out of justification. thks
