師兄所言絕對明白。我不會抹殺他們的努力和創意，如果我未聼過YAZOO 的Only You 在先，這首歌一定會讓我喜歡上他們。
剛剛好奇search下他們還唱了什麽歌，原來還有Eurythmics 的Who's That Girl, Sting 的 An Englishman In New York, Berlin 的 Take My Breathe Away, Prince 的 Purple Rain 等。但效果如何，就不敢恭維了，也許原唱太珠玉在前，所以他們都不能再令人有什麽驚喜了。

人都難免有先入為主的觀念；就以The Flying Pickets - Here There And Everywhere為例；我就覺得他們唱得比The Beatles好；其實他們的表演方式；大大有別於師兄在流行榜上聽到的那些；所以真不須比較；若你不喜歡他們的歌；其實可由於基本上不喜歡他們的這樣表演方式；等於有人鍾意流行曲；一聽到粵曲；或者鬼佬opera就唔鐘意；真係口味問題..........

其實我也不打算硬要比那個版本好一點，像師兄所說一樣，這是APPLE根ORANGE的比較，唯一相同只是同是水果，即相同的曲詞。請不要誤會我覺得這首歌難聽，當年我看見這首歌推出時，亦有驚喜，也覺得很好聽。只是我想表達的一點是他們其後的作品再不能為樂迷帶來驚喜，樂迷們也許都熱情慢慢冷却了，客觀的事實是除了第一首Only You在1983年UK流行榜有5星期冠軍之外，只有緊隨其後的When You're Young And In Love (#7 at 1984) 和 Who's That Girl ((#71 at 1984) 有一定銷量, 之後由1985 - 1992年推出的其他作品全都沒有進100名内，銷量不詳。因此，我個人的看法是Only You的空前成功是集了天時地利人和，不容易有第二次了，那首歌本身真的很適合他們作這種演繹方法。我亦有花時間聼了他們那些不能上榜的歌曲，只能說樂迷的耳朵是雪亮的。
我聼歌是很簡單的，覺得好聽就是好聽，不一定原唱就是最好。有太多例子，番唱並不比原唱失色，甚至更好也有。舉例說，雖然我很喜歡AIR SUPPLY，但MARIAH CAREY 唱Without You 也很出色，我也不會因爲她是番唱就把她看低。
