and waves come and go, and colors of shells are fading.
そして 波は寄せては返し 貝は色あせている
Die Dämmerung am Strande geh ich so für mich hin.
I wander along the beach in the sunset,
夕暮れのあの浜辺を さすらい

Oh, upcoming waves and drawing-back waves,
月の色も 星のかげも
Changing colors of the moon and stars!
