(Photos)VW2014年下一代Golf R和Touran，同一底盤風格迴異

最近有狗仔隊影到疑似下一代 Golf R 同Touran試車相。兩架車都係用新Golf採用嘅 MQB 底盤。可想而知呢個底盤嘅可造性有幾高。



暫時對呢兩部車所知嘅嘢可謂不多。Golf R如無意外應該繼續用2000cc直四Turbo All-wheel drive. 令人期待嘅係因為下星期公佈嘅Mk7 GTI 有望上到270匹，所以Golf R 應該過300, 同STI, EVO等睇齊。本人覺得車尾尾喉位置編排少咗R版中間出應有嘅特色。而車頭bumper中間對落嗰個應該係雷達or鐳射導航系統就好核突。



至於Touran七人車, 底盤軸距拉長咗，內部空間應該會更實用，唔會好似而家咁第三行好似夾硬嚟咁。不過睇開門位就應該仲唔係用趟門，所以上落同實用性會大打折扣。

個外形實在要加的味精先掂。  VW旗下的設計部真是懶到。。。。。。

我反而鐘意德國車呢種 evolution not revolution 嘅轉代設計。有D經典型號萬變不離其宗唔會失去原創精髓反而我like.  如果嫌Golf 單調其實可以買Scirocco.

European car manufacturers do have this tradition except the Italian, and I'm kind of like it.  I don't like the old Japanese way, no continuity at all.  But Golf from V to VII......

An example may help to explain my point:

W201 C-class is my all time favour design, I think it is magnificent, then it becomes W202 which is not as good as W201.  While you can easily differentiate the two generations, the continuity is very obvious because they do base on the same design language and share a lot of design details.

Golf from V to VII is like a face-lift.  Having said that, it doesn't mean the design is bad, I quite like the Golf VI design actually

with the new technology apply to the new golf, this would make it more outstanding performance surpassing than any civic or subraru.

日本車......AE86同啱啱出嘅86、新皇冠舊皇冠、新Civic舊Civic..外型真係無罅更,完全無神髓、性格。

The old XJ has been the same looking for decades.

I agree with you, the new Jags are so far away from the norm... but I can't say they don't look great.

As Addicted said the old design had been there for decades.   While it is classic and does look good, I think the market -sales figure has told Jag (or Jag perceives it in this way) that change is needed because Jag needs to attract new generations of rich people and I really don't think those people adore the old design.  The new XJ is really a revolutionary one and it shows the determination of Jag to make change.

I'm old so I like old Jag.  XF is good, XJ......ng let me see how Jag evolves it.

BMW sedans have basically the same look for decades too, the Porsche 911 even longer than that.  Neither have suffered any loss of sales because of that.

Maybe it's a decision made by Jaguar's new Indian owners.  The current designs don't look distinctive anyway, especially the XF.  Time will tell if the market likes them more than the traditional look.

Go talk to the BMW fans.  They still hate Chris Bangle for ruining their decade long design with the Bangle's Butt on the 7-series

My point exactly.  Why "fix" something when it's not broken?  Changing just for the sake of change, is a recipe for disaster, both in the automotive world and societies at large.

好似八、九十年代E-class, 由W123 -> W124 -> W210, 每一代都好唔同。W210 個四眼龜款我就好憎，但好多人話靚夠創新。仲好好賣添

Very good examples:

BMW tried something new without the sales pressure, the results are not that good, so in the F10 they kind of switched back.

Jag insisted old style for so long with the sales pressure, they made changes, results are not clear yet.

However, whether or not a biz is successful depends on a lot of other factors, outlook design is just one of them, if it is not the least important one.

You remind me of Toyota: they all look like crap, but people still buy them.

However, I don't think Jaguar (or any other European brand) can sell cars styled as badly as Toyotas.
