此曲是由Beatles的George Harrison創作, 收錄在專輯Abbey Road(1969)裡。這首歌曲正如其題目"太陽出來了"一樣，給人以溫暖的感覺，讓人感覺到光明和希望。這首歌是George Harrison最著名的一首歌，被譽為經典。

Abbey Road是Beatles的最後一張專輯。創作Abbey Road的歌曲的時候，樂隊由於Paul McCartney和John Lennon的矛盾，已經出現瞭解散的預兆。不久，Paul McCartney宣佈退出樂隊，Beatles的時代宣告終結。那段時間，樂隊的成員George Harrison正日復一日地在蘋果總部參加有關樂隊解散的會議，這讓他十分疲憊。作為樂隊的一員，他是不希望樂隊解散的，但是殘酷的現實卻讓他感到深深的失望。最後一天的會議已經開完，樂隊最後真的解散掉了。知道一切都完了以後，George Harrison低調地走出會議大樓，無比絕望。但是當他抬頭看見天上和煦的太陽以後，他突然覺得全身舒坦開了。陽光給了他希望，讓他有勇氣為自己的生命開啟新的篇章。於是他來到了自己的好友Eric Clapton家中，在他家的後花園創作了這首歌。

以下是一個罕有的版本,除了George Harrison外,還有Ringo Starr, Elton John, Phil Collin, Eric Clapton 等等伴奏。
