The skywalk is a showcase, but $50,000,000 could provide a good number of low cost housing units for the poor.  The typical Zhongshan skywalk is architecturally pleasing enough at a small fraction of the same cost.  I don't know how the local government can operate with such extravaganza, unless the cost is paid by the adjacent developers for enhancement of the area.

haha..u really think the bridge "cost" 50million?  i guess the cost may be only cost them 10m or even less then that!! Don't be serious on that.....40million already go to the parties where you and i never know...only know is not for the bridge!!!
