Yes la... only 8 rounds on each mag - I have to do a mag change whenever I move from stage to stag ...

yea...I forgot u r playing real guns....
we got mostly 31 rounds in Standard and Open Class in IPSC....
therefore, 4 mags at most are very enough

I luv using Blade tech too

Although I have a Blade-Tech to fit my SIG P226, it is not in service yet, right now I'm still using Safariland holster for 226, only my Glocks use Blade -Tech.

In the old days when I shoot my single stack Springfield 1911, I always carry 8 magazines, at that time the IPSC rule was different from now, it always has some close to 50 rounds field course, crazy!!!

Nowadays I shoot either a Glock or SIG, I carry 5 mags.

Single Stack is tough on reload (Revolver is the worst - only 6 rounds!!) and doing fast reload is key to cut time.

On the other hand, I have my G34 for Production class and sometime I use my G35 in Limited 10 class (most of the time I use my 1911 in L10).

Well, at that time I bought the single stack for fun only (occupied a .45 caliber vacancy on my arms licence), cause I was waiting for my Wilson Combat fully custom Hi-cap gun arrive, cause it takes quite long time to complete the job.

Lots of revolver shooters nowadays shooting .45 ACP with full moon clip, nice large caliber S&W 625, it saves a lot of time for reloading. Anyway they are in the Revolver Division so don't have to worry about compete with automatic pistols.

We use IPSC international rules here, Glock 34 is not able to shoot in Production Division: (1) trigger pull, (2) barrel length.

At that time (mid 90s) no, sorry for mislead you pal, it is a Wilson Combat with Para-Ordnance frame.

Please check on post #144 in this thread, that is the one I had before.

Just one question aloharicnsa C-hing, do you know the new type grip of  SIG P226 E2, will that fits into the traditional style 226?

Have no idea bro - looks similar but may not always work (that's how the vendor make $$) - better post that question on www.sigforum.com... LOL

Cannot fit in AIRAOFT world....
the tail of the lower body is different, so as the hammer spring set....
the E2 grip is a bit too small for 226

In airsoft world, we hv to put top gas in magazine; that is the power supply
when we shoot for around 15 rounds; the magazine will become cold and the gas supply will be unstable
this will lead to unstable track of each round and will definitely affect the result
therefore, most shooters change their magazine after they shot 15-18 rounds
that's why 4 are needed

This is good learning for me brother Kai.

I guess airsoft stages are pretty big - since you are going to need 4 mag with a potential 15 rounds on each mag (4*15 = 60).

In the "real" world - 30-40 round stages is consider high rounds count already.
