so, how much are they? and are they wireless or not?
sorry that i dont have any idea about those
Garmin Cycling computers range from US$250 to US$450, but you can always buy them a bit cheaper on Ebay or Amazon; Cateye computers are between US$30 to US$150. They are both very good bike computers. As far as wired or wireless, Garmin is all wireless and Cateye are mostly wireless and some wired ones as well. My personal experience is , wired one is more reliable and gives me less problem.
Which computer would I recommend? It depends on your budget, Garmin will provide more information and you can set it up on 2 pages with 8 datas on each page whereas the Cateye will give you the most pertinent information that most bikers need. If lower cost and reliability are important to you, I would strongly recommend the Cateye.
Another thing you need to know, if you have more than 1 bike and you want to have 1 cycling computer to share among your bikes, a wireless computer is easier to adopt than a wired one. |
