When I was in business trip to Turkey ...

I learned that they (Turkish) have the 2nd largest army in this world.  They also make some very good weapons.

Well, at that time (Y2K) their army equipment is really a mixed of whole world!

I saw some wearing former East Germany type steel helmet carrying Romania AKM, others wearing US WWII or Vietnam era steel helmet and carry Turkey made (H&K licenced) G3 rifle.

Kelvar helmet? Yes, I saw in military surplus store only, the owner trade his almost new Kelvar helmet to my daily carry stuff.

Yes, that's what I mentioned before, Remington is easier to obtain spare/aftermarket parts like 1911 or AR-15.
