So a few months back my cousin wanted to paint her wheels pink so I helped her out a bit...

It wasn't too bad.  Basically all you do is break it down by steps:

1. Take the wheels off the car.
2. Clean them good.
3. Sand it down with sandpaper (take your time with this)
4. Clean some more and then let it dry.
5. put index cards around tire/wheel area.
5. Apply at least 3 coatings of primer (wait 3 hours between each application)
6. Apply at least 6 coatings of color (pink in this case, and wait 3 hours between each also)
7. Apply at least 3 coatings of clear coat.  (this will protect the wheels and wait 3 hours as well).
8.  Enjoy the new color! :)

The pink was her idea. She knows I've done this before that's why she came to me for help. Doing it isn't hard it just take a long time. From start to finish takes about 3 days. She came over Friday night and didn't finish until Monday morning.

It's still pretty well after a few months so I'm guessing they will last.

haha yeah I offered to help but she really wanted to do it all herself. It is rare for girls to do that nowadays...
