I do believe the Navy has the tight schedule regarding the new aircraft carriers building.

I agree.
In PLA saying," Train well before the equipment arrived, rather than the equipment wait for us to train to use them".
I bet they already trained well before the Varyag finished, probably have to do a bunch of J15 take off and landing practice on there.
Varyag is a very good training base for the Navy, it also has decent defense/offence power (to Vietnam & Philipines) .
Once the other two carriers finished, the Navy is ready to go.
Just hate seeing China is still a pizza for other countries to share the piece, many countries see China just being an economic #1 country, and $$ #1, and not respond to any invasion to the territories..
I guess China is just let them grow as big as they can for now, and let the poor US to support them. Once the poor US economy meets its end, the other countries will fall with it :)

Really test flight from Varyag? i tot they only test at normal runway for J15?
