Batam Island One Night

Just came back from Batam (Indonesia) last week, and would share my experiences with Chings.

I went to Batam by fast ferry from Singapore. The fare is SGD 45 for round trip, including tax. The ferry company even print the Singapore immigration card for you.

The trip tooks about 45 minutes to from Singapore Harbourfont (MRT connected) to Batam Harbour Bay. There is also another route to Batam Centre, which takes a little bit longer.

Upon arrival at Batam, I chose one taxi driver and negotiated the price to SGD 6 to take me to the hotel. (you can book any hotel in Batam, as they are all girl-friendly)

One the way to the hotel, I asked the driver where and when can I pick up a girl. He told me to come to a Karaok where I can pick up a girl from as early as from noon time. He then took me to one at around 3:00 pm. The Karaok was shabby, but never mind, my purpose is not singing or drinking there. There are around 30 girls there, all sitting in one room with many benches,  mostly wearly normal clothes. Face, body, and voice differs from girl to girl, but sure there were some eatable ones. But did not see any one of the "Model" level. The price is 70 to 80 SGD to the Karaok. Then you can take the girl away until the next morning. Not bad!

I saw the driver received some tips from the manager, but didnot know how much is it. Then he drove me and the girl to the hotel.

I had a very pleasant afternoon, and evening, and night with the girl (could be another report if Chings are interested). The next morning, some one called the girl and come to the hotel to take her back. I also came back Hong Kong via Singapore.

Some notes for from my experience:
1. remember to confirm your return ferry upon arrival at Batam terminal;
2. SGD is widely accepted in Batam, and the rate is even better than exchanging in Singapore;
3. Go early, especialy on weekends, otherwise the good-looking girls will all be picked up by Singapore men flooded here for sex vocation;
4. Many of the girls speek only little English, so tell the manager your language requirement, or (the better way to be happy) learn some Indonesian;
5. Do not go out on street at night, as secirity is a problem in Batam.

additional note:
1) Normal karaoke girls range from 350,000Rp to 500,000Rp. Model could cost more from 600,000Rp and above.

2) Depends on where u stay. If u r staying at Nagoya hill area, taxi fare to batam centre ferry terminal is about 80,000Rp (cant recall the exact no). u can negotiate with them.

3) as ching yojoy said, get the girl early during weekend especially sat. early means 12pm onward and before 3pm.

4) Lastly, if u r staying near Nagoya hill, there are some road side food stall selling BBQ seafood and satay near Nagoya Hill Plaza. Get a drink with eggs and honey (cant recall the name, everytime my colleague call it for me) which will make u feel good at night

u dont need to pay 70SGD unless u go to place attached to hotel. the rest of the so called karaoke, just go in and tell the boss, pick the girl, tell them where and when to send the girl (or u can bring her back on the spot) and pay at counter before u leave.

not sure for those karaoke attached to hotel.

No. The 70 SGD (or 3xx,000 rp) you pay to the KARAOK already include price for the girl.
