Yes, very interesting...
A bit pity that I can't reply in Chinese. The prediction by Mr. Lau, in Ming Dynasty,
did mention about Hong Kong (HK). The rough translation is:-
"In Yellow Cow Hill there is a cave which, although small, can accommodate
thousands of people. Those who came here at an early stage can enjoy
a peaceful and steady living; however those who came later would be repatriated.
It is hardly to tell whether or not they are guilty (of an offence)."
Everybody knows HK is very small in area, but surprisingly with a huge
population of (now) 7 million; mainly immigrants from China in early decades.
In 80's of the last century, owing to an increasingly large number of the
so-called "illegal immigrants", the then Colonial HK Government had
decided to have them repatriated back to China despite the fact they
had arrived at the urban areas of HK; as opposed to the then adopted "Base-
Arrival" policy. It was merely a change of immigration legislation. As a matter
of fact, those so-called illegal immigrants were so unlucky to have been
repatriated for committing no serious criminal offences at all.
Comparing the historical fact with Mr. Lau's prophesy, you will be surprised to admit
Mr. Lau was a great prophet!
