I always call the agent with english,no chinese were talk.
I just give the fake name like John.I think you just met a stupid agent,or may be they had a double booking.

P.S. This is madness,if you give any personal information to any Agent or Girl you meet.

OMG, i'm sorry about your bad experience!..but here is what i did....
so first of all, I spoke to the operator (she was a woman) in English..no chinese at all..
then I arrived at the hotel and called her back..
she told me to park and wait for 20 mins though but in a very polite way...and i told her to call me back when ready
she called me back in less than 15 mins and told me to go to the room#....so it wasn't that bad....

maybe the agent was on99 not you...she must has confused you with someone else...

another side note....
that's why you always need a backup plan...just write down all the phone numbers in case!!
at least this is what I learn from ching Made in HK....

Where do you live?
There are quite alot of options in the East Bay (taiwanese, jap, korean, etc...)
