1992年2月18日，Guns N' Roses 發行單曲 "November Rain"。這首近9分鐘的長篇大作，主唱 Axl Rose 從1983年就開始醞釀 (當時吉他手還是 Tracii Guns)，槍與玫瑰出道時因 已有同樣是抒情歌的 "Sweet Child O' Mine" 而未被考慮，直到 才正式收錄。據吉他手 Slash 在自傳中透露，早期他們曾和製作人 Manny Charlton (Nazareth 吉他手) 錄過一個長達18分鐘的版本。

"November Rain" 總計銷售逾百萬張，於全美 Billboard 排行榜攻下第3名，締造有史以來 Top 10 最長歌曲紀錄，直到2021年底才被 Taylor Swift 打破。它的MV同樣出名，除了讓人似懂非懂的情節持續引發樂迷討論，也是史上耗資最鉅的音樂影像之一。總計花費150萬美金，只為了讓 Slash 可以帥氣地solo，團隊直接在新墨西哥沙漠裡變出一座教堂。不過當時可沒有空拍機，所以是以直昇機超級近距離拍攝，驚險程度讓 Slash 內心暗暗以為那是自己在地球上的最後一天...
2018年7月，"November Rain" 在 YouTube 上觀看次數超過10億次，是該平台出現前已存在的音樂錄影帶中首支達到此里程碑者。2023年2月，影片播放超過20億次，再次於古早音樂錄影帶中拔得頭籌。
