142款平價Android機預載惡意程式

防毒軟件供應商Avas的研究員周五（25日）表示，最少有142款平價Android手機，被預載一種名為「Cosiloon」的惡意程式，涉事製造商包括中國電訊廠中興通訊、法國手機Archos及菲律賓myPhone等。據悉，受影響的用戶遍佈逾90國家，最少達1.8萬人。

報道指，「Cosiloon」於2016年首次被防毒軟件公司Dr.Web發現。由於它藏於Android主程式內，故難以移除。Avast在1.8萬部裝置上偵測到該款惡意程式，而且均未獲Google授權認證。受感染手機的用家更是遍布全球，包括近期制裁中興的美國。

研究員表示，「Cosiloon」本身為變種廣告軟件，惟近年不斷變種。其中一款會下載惡意程式指令，令裝置進而下載其他軟件，引發更多保安問題。

Avast列出受感染裝置的清單，若用戶不幸「中招」，可利用Google Play Protect尋找及停用「Cosiloon」，再使用防毒應用程式，來卸載手機內病毒。

Several hundred different devices are affected. The affected devices usually sport a Mediatek chipset and are mostly low cost tablets.  The list, including the most affected devices,can be found here and includes devices from brands like Archos, ZTE, and Prestigio. The list is likely so extensive because the malware was part of a chipset platform package which is reused for many similar devices with different brand names. We cross-checked many, but not all of the devices, and noticed that the chipset on the devices we inspected was from MediaTek. The devices run different Android versions ranging from 4.2 to 6.0.
