避免口語Chinglish表達集錦

由於中西方表達方式的巨大差異，所以中國考生在托福口語的考試中，常常說一些不地道的表達，讓外國考官很難理解。經常說一些中國式英語，即Chinglish，這是很傷分數的。所以，為廣大考生整理了一份list，這是一位在中國執教五年的美國老師整理的，羅列了各種的中式英語表達，非常有參考價值。

下面這些Chinglish說法，其中每行第一部分是漢語說法，第二部分是Chinglish說法，第三部分則是英語的標准說法。

①永遠記住你② remember you forever③ always remember you(沒有人能活到forever)

①祝你有個...② wish you have a...③ I wish you a...

①給你② give you③ here you are

①很喜歡...② very like...③ like... very much

①黃頭髮② yellow hair③ blond/blonde(西方人沒有yellow hair的說法)

①廁所② WC③ men's room/women's room/restroom

①真遺憾② it's a pity③ that's too bad/it's a shame(it's a pity說法太老)

①褲子② trousers③ pants/slacks/jeans

①修理② mend③ fix/repair

①入口② way in③ entrance

①出口② way out③ exit(way out在口語中是crazy的意思)

①勤奮② diligent③ hardworking/studious/conscientious

①應該② should③ must/shall

①火鍋② chafing dish③ hot pot

①大廈② mansion③ center/plaza

①馬馬虎虎② so-so③ average/fair/all right/not too bad/OK(西方人很少使用so-so)

①好吃② delicious③ good/nice/tasty/appetizing(delicious在中國被濫用)

①盡我最大努力② try my best③ try/strive(try的本意就是try my best)

①有名② famous③ well-known/renowned/legendary/popular(famous在中國被濫用)

①滑稽② humorous③ funny/witty/amusing/entertaining

①欺騙② to cheat③ to trick/to play a joke on/to con/to deceive/to rip off

①車門② the door of the car③ the car's door

①怎麼拼?② how to spell?③ how do you spell?

①再見② bye-bye③ bye/see you/see you later/later(bye-bye有些孩子氣)

①玩② play③ go to/do(play在中國被濫用)

①麵條② noodles③ pasta(noodles有些孩子氣)

①據說② it is said③ I heard/I read/I was told

①等等② and so on③ etc.

①直到現在② till now③ recently/lately/thus far

①農民② peasant③ farmer

①宣傳② propaganda③ information

以上這些Chinglish，考生們要避免出現，以免失分。希望考生們能在托福口語考試中，取得好成績。

有D意思唔一樣 Propaganda 係洗腦, 跟宣傳及 information 不同.
Jeans 是牛仔褲, 真遺憾&it's a shame 意思不同, should/must/shall 三字不一樣, 表達不同....還有其他.
I wish you have a....文法不對, 亦唔係 Chinglish 應該是 I wish you had a.....
鬼佬筆者英文 so so....
老實講, 唔係個個鬼佬英文都叻架, 禾在外國長大, 英文屎鬼亦時常見, 講就一定流利..

說了中式，也沒有鬼佬會怪你的。

Thank you for providing these good examples.  Some of the Chinglish become a normal English such as " Long time no see"

其實WC形容廁所應該是可以的。

WC is derived from "water closet" (flush toilet),
and is commonly used on signs to indicate the location of a public toilet
