Agree !   For years, I only look at their decks.  This is one Teac I wanted to get...but picked up a Sony instead.  I guess over 90% hi fi fans never seen it..  Sound quality comparable to 10.5 in 3 head open wheel..

The pics shown are not Cassette Decks...same tape size as open wheel, running at double cassette speed (3 3/4 IPS).  It will kill any cassette decks.  Including the best Nakamechi..easy..I had the Sony, I know..both were very expensive at the time..3 motor, 3 head, 10.5 inch open wheel deck price, sorta.

I have never heard any cassette decks sound anywhere close to open wheel in my life yet, including all the 3(2) motor 3 head models I had, Nak, Sony, Aiwa,Teac, Akai,.(I had their top model one time or another except Nak, too much money).  The large cassette decks were very close.
Actually, I was not trying to say what is the best, just show some support of your post..and expressed what I wanted.
