I visited HK with my Australian born children (teenagers now). They are Chinese but never set foot in a Chinese society. In the MTR, I make sure they give up their seat for the elderly people even though we paid full adult fares.
This visit I noted there are a lot of mainland Chinese tourists. Maybe we went to places like Ocean Park, Disneyland and The Peak. Generally I observe lack of courtesy and pushing in the line. I told one woman off that she should not push pass people who are in the queue. Also an ugly incident in the Airport in the food court area. Overall, China's society education is a total failure. The young generation are selfish and the more money they have, the less nice they are. Go to places like Germany or Northern Europe to see the opposite of China's manner. |
