The referee was late in protecting the other fighter. That is the main fail. You always protect yourself but the one in white shorts was a complete asshole.

Putting your hand up doesn't mean you have surrendered................

The official saw the guy was defenseless and step in, and to say that the puncher is wrong is absurd because he is going for the knockout..
