A gasoline-soaked char. canister should not affect the driveability of the vehicle, I would be cautious of unscrupulous mechanic who want me to shell our $500 to replace it.

FYI, Proud Technician and Engineer, also ASE certified and licensed by the State of California Bureau of Automotive Repair and continually have new automotive technology updated every 2 years.

Just giving an honest opinion (FACT) for all forum members so they know what really goes on in their vehicle.

The point here is not just getting a refund but people will try to gas up to the pre-set amount and end up spilling gasoline everywhere.

not asking you to dig anything up and I wouldn't want my credentials made public, and you can believe whatever you want, none of my business and I could't care less.

Said what I needed to say, not trying to convince anybody, don't really care what anybody else thinks of what I say, just sharing what I got.

I got better things to do than trying to convince an arrogant fool who refuses to believe or criticizes what anybody else says.

Why are you taking it so seriously? Because someone don't share your gospel doesn't make him an arrogant fool only those people who can't accept an opposite view is.. What a pity.
