Brandyn Robert Burnette was born on August 23rd 1990 in Boca Raton, Florida. Brandyn has had no formal training; he’s a self –taught musician who organically creates his own sound simply by his natural ability to hear good music and melody. He received his first keyboard at the age of 7, then at age 12 his father gave him a Yamaha PSR 8000 keyboard, thurs beginning Brandyn’s musical exploration into composing full songs. In seventh grade, Brandyn began auditioning for school musicals and plays, helping develop his outgoing persona and sultry/smooth voice. At age 13, he wrote his first full length song titled, ‘Memories’, capturing his upset when his sister left for college. Now 18, Brandyn has decided to pursue his music and song writing professionally. With songs like ‘Consequence of Being Juvenile’ a song written about a friend who passed away in a drunk driving accident, he continues to express himself with deep truth, passion, and rare insight. Brandyn’s father, O’Bryan, is a singer, songwriter, and producer who was signed to Capitol Records in the 80’S. At Capitol, he released four albums and nine singles, all of which had slots on the R&B charts. His single ‘The Gigolo’ from the album, Doing Alright, 1982, reached number five on the R&B charts and number 57 on the pop charts. Brandyn grew up in the early 90’s listening to his father’s music, which ultimately inspired him to try his hand at bridging Soul and Pop Music. Brandyn is currently working towards Major Record Deal and will be touring the U.S soon. With Unique sound incredibly heartfelt lyrics, and an ear for beautiful melody, Brandyn is sure to be one of music’s next biggest ‘Blue – Eyed Soul’ singing sensations. |
