I think it is stupid. Takes at least 5 minute to put away car and if everyone wants to rush going out you will have a real problem, and rich people won't tolerate waiting.

What is the big deal anyway? I put my cars inside my garage and walking in the house with a few steps everyday, in my own land with no one else on top of me. If I live in a high rise, park the car in the car space downstairs and go upstairs. I visit quite a few mid-level apartment complex and in their car park it is full of luxury cars anyway. Their owners won't be so dumb to want to park the car upstairs.
