Michelle覺得她和專輯製作人John Shanks（Melissa Etheridge、BB Mak、SR-71、Chris Isaak）之間有神奇的心靈相通。「當你寫了一首歌，那是很私密的。那首歌是你的寶寶，你看著它成長，然後你必須放手。當我們在錄音室時，我完全沈潛在泉湧而至的靈感中，John很能激發出我的靈感。」
